Membership

Membership in the Yakima Chess Club is $30.00 per year, but it is not a prerequisite to attend and play chess at our weekly meetings. With membership, however, there is a $5 discount on each tournament that the member participates in during that calendar year.

We are a non-profit community-based organization, and annual dues are used to cover the costs of our club's membership in the U.S.C.F., website hosting fees, and other miscellaneous expenses incurred in the administration of our organization. Membership dues for the Yakima Chess Club do not cover the cost of each individual's membership in the U.S.C.F., which is separate.
